Alternatives to the Push-Up
The push-up exercise provides a strength workout for the upper body, specifically providing a workout for the arms, shoulders, chest, back and abdominals.
The relative contribution of these muscle groups will depend on which variation of the push-up you perform. If you want more variation, there are many other alternative exercises which can also workout these muscle groups.
